The Bluest Day

Last night at approximately 1:30 a.m. an alien ship had landed in the middle of our city. At first glance we were all struck with fear. But given time the aliens had explained themselves. One witness stated, It was a combustion of emotions. I was both scared yet happy and warm. The best way for me to explain it is as a hug when you're crying. Just so warm. We had gone on to interview others and they had all seemed to feel the same way. All struck with an odd sense of familiarity.

The First Interaction

Once the spaceship had landed we made sure to rush over to the suspicious aircraft. Once arriving I had asked one simple question. Where are you from? When I asked this they began to fidget with their neck. I now realized that it was some sort of communicating device. After a few seconds of eerie silence he spoke. He stated I am Shlime from the 2039 galaxy. We were passing through your galaxy as we began running out of fuel. We require air, which you call oxygen. I was still in shock from the alien speaking but I was able to get out a few words. Are there others out in space. He was able to tell me that they're actually called Glizzy Gladiators rather than the generic term aliens. They had then left once they obtained an efficient amount of air. Before they left, they thanked us and while leaving the atmosphere a beam of blue light shined and lit up the entire sky for miles. This will be documented as the Bluest Night
